Note to self (and friends who are on two wheels, whether bicycles or motorcycles). If you cannot see the drivers face, the driver CANNOT see you, this apply to all vehicles. Not everyone got Spidermans senses. If you see a large vehicle (any kind of trucks, buses, vans, etc), do not ride next (left or right) or in front of the large vehicle because they CANNOT see you. Slow down or change lanes to avoid the large vehicles, if not youll end up being minced meat on the road. If traffic is moving, you can pass two vehicles (lane splitting) but do not maintain (stay) speed in between vehicles, unless you plan to become sandwich. If youre experiencing traffic, be patient and ride carefully, dont follow those mat rempits riding fast between cars. The phrase dangerous motorcycling means nothing to them. If you think 100% good at riding, minus that 50% off. Why? That 50% is our ego. If you think youre visible enough to others at night, youre wrong. Dark colors are the worse to wear, those reflective stripes on your jacket is not even visible from far & motorcycle rear lights are usually not that bright. Wear high-visibility clothing at all times. Mishaps on the road* WILL happen while riding, so anticipating these things to happen is the key. Ride safe :) Note: *: (drivers suddenly change lane without signal, drivers not paying attention or distracted by phone, too-fast-for-own-good drivers, motorcyclists with no riding skills or/and common sense, bicyclists not follow traffic laws, pedestrian ignoring oncoming vehicles, oil slick/sand deposits at the corner, etc)
