Notes from church today! /////////////// We are at a season of advancement. A season to go forward or lose ground Psalm 136 Gal 6 1-10 A story was told and learnings included looking out for and standing up against sin, boldly! Just knocking at sin for example is not enough. You have to be bold aggressive when standing up against sins. We cant let fear dictate what we do. Secret sin if not revealed will not be turned away from. Take a stand! Pull yourself in Christ up and persevere! In the big picture and in the end we are victorious in Christ. A all to prayer! To take a stand! Fear will rob your joy, its a choice to allow this to take place...... Psalm 41:3 Heb 10:24 An altar called occurred where many stepped forward to be pruned by Christ. But each person is tempted when he is drawn away and enticed by his own evil desires. Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death. Don’t be deceived, my dearly loved brothers. (James 1:14-16 HCSB) People love sin and many times over do not want to repent and complete the 180. To overcome temptation, whatever it may be preach the gospel! Quit fighting spiritually against the devil and start ruling your flesh and being victorious with our spirit man in Christ. The devil is not to blame for the crumbling of our nation... It is the heart of man. We allow the poison of the world within our veins. We can be enticed at any time by sin. We have a race to endure till the end. 1 Samuel 15:22 Then Samuel said: Does the Lord take pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? Look: to obey is better than sacrifice, to pay attention is better than the fat of rams. For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and defiance is like wickedness and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He has rejected you as king. (1 Samuel 15:22-23 HCSB) God placed His Son on the cross so we could have a way out. When we fall into sin.... The Spirit will leave. 1 Samuel 16:7 Davis was 15 when the Lord took notice of his heart. His heart was pure. We have our own heart and need to forgive people...... Those are lions in our life. Saul never repented Now the Spirit of the Lord had left Saul, and an evil spirit sent from the Lord began to torment him, (1 Samuel 16:14 HCSB) If your leader is in sin, we or as a Father family will tremble. If our church is in sin we wont be able to stand against those Giants. We must destroy the lions and Giants in our lives. Davids heart never grew weary. He was ready spiritually.... And physically. Then Saul commanded his servants, “Find me someone who plays well and bring him to me.” One of the young men answered, “I have seen a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who knows how to play the lyre. He is also a valiant man, a warrior, eloquent, handsome, and the Lord is with him.” Then Saul dispatched messengers to Jesse and said, “Send me your son David, who is with the sheep.” So Jesse took a donkey loaded with bread, a skin of wine, and one young goat and sent them by his son David to Saul. (1 Samuel 16:17-20 HCSB) God answered Sauls fear with Davids faith! The message of the Lipn and David not letting just one sheep be lost... He knew it would return. Just like sin.... Our hearts grow complacent with the sin... And it keeps coming back for more (sin). The armor of God protect us from the outside.... Protecting our internal is our responsibility. Our heart.... She armor does not matter if our hearts are not right! The shield of faith! Our faith needs to be in Jesus and not our own abilities because we will lose when that occurs. No longer do things on our own.. Need accountability Monitor what our eyes ears and mouth hear, speak, think. Always a reason the Lord convicts us. When falling in sin the covering is lost... Many things spirits can come upon you. Guard our hearts from the enemy with he shield of faith Guard our hearts to preserve the new heart we have in Christ.
