Nothing Just Happens July 25th, 2013 It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever believed in good and bad luck? When something amazing happens, you tell someone “I have good luck!” Have you ever contacted a psychic or palm reader? You wanted to know what your future revealed. Have you ever believed in horoscopes? You believe you are the way you are because of your zodiac sign. So often in our lives, we base our outcomes on worldly creations. If things go well, it was luck or good fortune. If things go wrong, it was a curse. Do you not know that many people believe psychics, palm readers, or horoscopes can actually reveal their future? Have you ever been there? Are you there now? Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. In our lives, we often face challenges and dilemmas. There will be times when we wonder what the outcome will entail. We begin to believe the old saying, “stuff happens.” Knowing this, you must understand the divine plan of God. Worldly creations can never explain spiritual matters. My friend, Nothing Just Happens! The Bible declares in Ecclesiastes 3:1 - To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: To say “stuff happens” is to assume God is not in control. Nothing happens in your life that God does not know about. No one can enter or exit your life without God’s awareness. The Bible declares in Isaiah 40:22 - It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, … There are no secrets hidden from the omniscience of God. Nothing Just Happens! Your life is not chaotic, it is purposed. My brother, my sister, God is in control of everything in your life. The enemy himself cannot converse with you unless the Lord gives Him permission. As God did for Job, He has also placed a hedge around you. Nothing Just Happens! The Bible declares in Jeremiah 1:5 - Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Dear friend, before you knew who you were, God had fellowship with you. Before your mother and father knew each other, God had a relationship with you. Nothing Just Happens! No matter what you face in this life, God is aware and able. The Bible declares in Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Whether it is a psychic, a root-worker, a palm reader, a horoscope or a fortune cookie, none of these tactics will ever be able to declare or explain your purpose.
