Nothing hurts a Mommas heart more than when kids are unkind. I know we all feel that way. One thing I really HATE about living in a small community is that sports, i.e. football is taught to be the holy grail. It seems as if that of your kid isnt in sports, well then...There arent any other local avenues of things to do for those who love art, building, drawing, gaming. So today, when Kyle asks a friend to do something else other than football he gets yelled at. Kyle tries football, he puts himself out there with the neighbor kids even though he really feels bad about himself, like he cant play well. And when I overhear the other kid say you do everything bad...ugh. I told him that maybe he could show Kyle how to do a couple of things, since he plays football, but it wasnt received well. So now Kyle is inside feeling horrible and unwanted. Once he wants to have company, we will have to play a game or something.
