Nothing is more frustrating in church than when we see a brother/sister, whose sin or weakness we are aware of, receiving the word preached, having peace, enjoying fellowship of the Holy Spirit, operate in a supernatural gifting, receave healing, prosper... We want God to punish them for their lawless deeds and sins. But Gods thoughts are higher than ours. He says I will be merciful to their unrughteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more . Whaat??? Do you notice what He says will be His response to their unrighreousness? He will be *merciful*. We think that the blessed person is the one who works hard to obtain justification by their praying, fasting, holiness, church attendance. But God says its a blessing when a person doesnt have to pay the price that they deserve, and is justified freely. Maybe you are reading this as one who has messed and seeing no reason for God to bless you today. Well, my friend, Jesus died for your sin and mine and He is the only justification we have with God. Believing in Him alone makes you blessed, happy, and gives you quality life to be envied. Blessed and happy and to be envied are those whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered up and completely buried. Blessed and happy and to be envied is the person of whose sin the Lord will take no account nor reckon it against him (Rom.3:7-8)
