Nothing upsets me more than seeing grown people not respecting their parents. They should be treated with the upmost respect. Always. Whether they deserve it or not. They got up with you at night, took care of you when you were little, cared for you in a way no one else on this Earth will ever love you. With an unconditional love. You are their greatest work! They will always and forever love you. They know you better than anyone else because they created you and theyve known you the longest. Someday they will be gone, and you will have your moments where you would give anything to feel their presence. To be able to pick up the phone and get their advice. To simply feel that security of ... When everyone else is down on you - their love remains. A parents love is eternal. If you cant see past the fog of Earthly issues (they do this wrong, they didnt give me ____, they treated me _____) GET OVER IT! Lose your sense of entitlement and learn to be a recipient of whatever they do offer you. If you dont you are missing out on the greatest love you will ever feel. One that is not based on romance, a love that is based on unconditional true feelings. No one loves you like they do!
