He hasn’t been kidnapped! He will be back looking better than ever, as he is in very capable hands of a wonderful artist. He is safely at his “spa retreat”. A little history of our beloved Honk Honk. November 30, 2001, the Gosling’s, one of Abbotsford’s most industrious pioneering families, proudly unveiled their family sponsored bench Honk, Honk, a treasured replica of a 1940’s or 50’s truck created by Abbotsford artist, Dean Lauze. Once it returns, we invite you to take a peak in the back window of the truck and see the “reflection” of Montrose Avenue actually painted into the window. It truly is an amazing piece of art.
