Nov 4- Im thankful for SMALL GROUPS. A small group is a assembly of believers united towards the study of Gods word, prayer, and fellowship with the focus on following after Jesus and leading others toward him. Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. -Proverbs 27:17 And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ. Acts 5:42 How I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you in public and from house to house, Acts 20:20 Small groups have been apart of my life for about 7 years or so and I have met a lot of wonderful people over the years through small groups. I have seen the LORD work in my life as well as those within these small groups. My general reason for small group is to stay focused on the plan that God has called us toward as believers. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” -Matthew 28:19-20. Today, we, (myself and my wife) have set aside Monday to be the day that we meet together with our small group. It is a joy to meet with our group and Im very thankful for God placing them all within our life.
