November- - -Fresh TOP OF THE TROPS - - - Track 1 GREG DWYER_The Crossing (Cairns) Greg Dwyer is relatively new to the online sound caper, but has produced a sweet desert inspired track, watch out for the Barettas, heres a bit more info from Greg: The Crossing was inspired by the movie The Homesman with Tommy Lee Jones. He is offered the task of transporting 3 mad women across the desert. The river is a key point in the movie to revert to his past or redeem himself. Produced, recorded and played by Me in my loungeroom. My plan is to create a band called The Barettas. I thought it best to record all the songs first and the seek out members keen on the style Im making. At the moment I only aspire to the odd open mic night but it wont be long before I step up and tackle the nightlife scene here in Cairns. I do have a tip or two for budding beginners. Practice standing up into a mic and amp. Everythings different after that.
