WHO IS HON. MWATHI WA GITHOMO???? - Went to Rironi primary (CPE), then Uasin Gishu High School (O-level), then Mangu High school (A-level) - Has a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from University of Nairobi and a Masters Degree in Urban Management - Worked as an Architect in the Ministry of Roads and Public Works, from 1993 to June 2007 - He founded MWATHI FOUNDATION which to date has trained over 6,500 youths in various courses such as driving, hairdressing, beauty therapy, computer etc, at a cost of more than 50 million - The foundation has also held dozens of Medical camps in Limuru - Was Limuru MP between 2008 to 2013 and was a Commissioner in Parliamentary Service Commission - As an MP, he oversaw construction of Parking sheds, donating wheelchairs, construction of Police posts and stations, classes, dispensaries, donating water tanks, hospital beds & medical equipment, promoting footbal and volleyball teams, building laboratories, dining halls, dormitories, harambees, scholarships etc - Gave FREE TUITION to thousands of students both in Primary and High School in all schools in Limuru - Currently training counties on drafting of bills and legislation, a duty he was appointed to in July 2013 by H.E Uhuru Kenyatta - Despite his busy schedule, still helps many residents in Kiambu and Kenya at large and is still promoting education, which is at the centre of his heart.
