November 12,2014 St. Josaphat, Bishop and Martyr Wednesday, 32nd Week in Ordinary Time Lord, like the thankful Leper, grant me a grateful heart that recognizes the unconditional love and mercy that You show me each day. Help me to abandon my pride and acknowledge my sinfulness that I may be more open to Your healing love, thus deepening my communion with You. As I humbly approach You with sincere contrition and utmost faith, release the burden of guilt and suffering and restore my body and soul to good physical and spiritual health. Free me from all discontentment and ingratitude so I may become a more active recipient of Your grace and live a life of thanksgiving by sharing these gifts You have given with my fellowmen Create a grateful heart within me so that I may open it to Your presence and thankfully sing Your praises. Help me to live a life of thanksgiving, a Eucharistic life that attracts many blessings for my soul and the souls of my family members, my parish and for the souls of those in danger of being lost. May I learn to count my blessings with gratefulness and give thanks in all circumstances. Amen Based on Today’s Gospel: Luke 17:11-19
