November 27, 2013 Wednesday, 34th Week in Ordinary Time Lord, help me to proclaim Your Gospel throughout the world even in the midst of opposition and persecution. Grant that I may allow Your sovereignty to reign over my life as I entrust all situations to Your merciful and loving care. May I rely on Your sacramental presence as I strive to faithfully bear witness to Your Name, patiently enduring the trials that come with my calling and reflecting Your faithful love to others. Fill me with the grace to overcome my enemies through persevering hope, undying love, forbearance, kindness, goodness and compassion. May I never misuse the holiness of my own spiritual life but instead take care not to fall into the errors of the world which recognizes it’s way to happiness through worldly pleasure and power. Help me to stand courageously against the moral decline that thrives around us today and use my talents for the greater good of Your Kingdom. May You give me the words and the wisdom that I need to generously share Your Word and live my life as a faithful witness to Your saving love. Amen Based on Today’s Gospel: Luke 21:12-19
