The song went on to become one of their most popular songs in France as some of the lyrics were in French. 1979: Fleetwood Mac peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart with “Tusk” which was their fifth top ten single in the U.S. 1979: The Eagles reached number one on the Billboard 200 Album Chart for the fourth time with The Long Run which spent nine consecutive weeks at number one making it the last number one album of the 1970’s. 1991: Promoter Bill Graham’s funeral was held at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. The event included performances by the Grateful Dead, Santana, Jackson Browne, Joe Satriani & Journey’s final public performance with Steve Perry. 1994: Rush drummer Neil Peart made an appearance on the talk show Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher. 1995: Hootie & the Blowfish reached an out-of-court settlement with Bob Dylan over unauthorized use of Dylan’s lyrics in their hit single “Only Wanna Be With You”. 1999: Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell held an album release party that featured go-go dancers, projections and lots of drummers for his debut solo album Song Yet to be Sung which wasn’t released until 2001. 2002: Santana reached number one on the Billboard 200 Album Chart for the fourth time with Shaman which spent one week on top. This album also contained collaborations, like his previous album Supernatural. 2003: Aerosmith appeared with Hank Williams Jr. to perform “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight” live on Monday Night Football. 2004: During a ceremony at Buckingham Palace, Eric Clapton was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire for “contribution to British life”.
