Now Im inspired. Reading what a guy done for a street person. A guy just stopped by my house. He drinks a lot but sobered up lately. Said hes been sober since Dec. 22nd.We talked about his dad just the other day. This guy lives down the highway but his dad who is 93 years old lives at Prince George. He said his dad spends a lot of time by himself because the people where he stays work all day long. So I told him next time he should drive into PG and take his dad out for lunch somewhere. I lent the guy my truck because hes really trying to stay sober. Said he doesnt like to stay on reserve because there is temptation everywhere. He just stopped by and said he got his GST. What did he do? He drove into PG (145 kms away) and took his dad out for lunch! I like this guy because hes always worried about his dad...even drives 100 miles to take him to lunch. Awesome!
