Now for something different today. The last few weeks I have been contemplating shadows, reflections and echos. This from a magical/shamanistic point of view. I know that this next statement may get some interesting comments but I believe that “Magic IS Science”. For my purposes I like to use Aleister Crowleys definition of magic which is The Science and Art of causing Change to occur in conformity with Will. Now before two many people get in a huff, I know many who believe in the concept of the “Law of Attraction” but may not be comfortable with the term Magic. But I say to those folk, what is the difference? And to my science geek friends I invite you to consider the working of magic and the Law of Attraction to Quantum Physics and String Theory. To my Christian friends I would refer you to Matthew 17:20 >> “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Now defining the word “Shadow” is a much more complicated matter. So when asking the simple question via Goggle “Do Shadows Have Mass” I came upon the following interesting thread on HYPOGRAPHY science forum.
