Tell us: "I wanted to sing it abd basta!", which is a much mote honest excuse. Moreover, WHO said that a historically correct performance is one that looks only into evidence from 200 years ago? Anyone wanting to get Norma right must look into Pasta, Grisi but also Ponselle, Cigna, Callas, Gencer Caballe or Sutherland.
