Now lets see...how many more crossing upgrades will be necessary...at city expense? And IF a siding is built, who absorbs the cost for upgrades that no longer function? Can anyone not see that BNSF and the coal companies are going to screw each and every town these proposed trains will go through. Taxpayers will pick up the costs, while the coal companies and the railroad pocket the profits. How can conservatives approve this kind of "tax" on their properties?
