Now that Fred is here I can get a good look at what all of his needs are. We got him from a rescue in Nocadoches that is struggling to rescue so many dogs that are being turned out on the street by some local puppy mills out there. The rescue is called Noc Fosters and they are doing the best that they can with limited resources, Fred was picked up on the road by them and assessed by their vet. He had an embedded collar in his neck which was removed. Typically the scar from this never goes away, their vet felt that he had urine burn on his back from being in the bottom set of wire cages in the mill and was being urinated on constantly. His skin is in very bad shape but he should be able to make a quick full recovery with the proper care. His ears are very infected and I have flushed them and began medicating them. He is a very lovable little guy who just wants to sit in your lap, he is now outside running and playing with Augustus the Scottie and is making lots of friends. Hes a great little guy.
