Now that Im settled in a much nicer hotel, I thought Id share my nightmare from last night. Remember the horrible motel rooms from the cheesy 70s cop shows? The ones where the bad guys always stay? Those were better than my place last night. Yes, that is my suitcase doing dual duty as security. The deadbolt didnt have the actual bolt, so it was just the flimsy lock on a hollow door. How did I know he door was hollow? From the punch to it! But the door with all the locks is to the connecting room. Apparently that needs to be more secure. And I would agree. The two lovebirds in the room next to me made me want to throw the door open and toss some cold water on them! When I moved the nightstand to plug in my phone, I found leftover gum! Probably from the 70s as that appears to be the last time anything was done in the room. I didnt try to turn in the tv, but wall-mounted tvs mean something completely different than 40 years ago! And now Im off to bed. With my working deadbolt and actual peep hole. I might even turn on my flat-screen tv while I rest on clean bedding. Ahhhhh....,,,
