Now that my family has been notified I can safely allow everyone in on my last few weeks with my cancer battle. Last week I had some scar tissue and one small cyst removed from my right ovary. When a biopsy was ran all results came back negative for cancer cells. Things were finally looking up. But since then things have taken a toll for the worse. Ive been experiencing more and more migraines and having a hard time eating. Ill go days without eating at a time and my migraines force me to stay up most nights until 2/3 am. Ive also been experiencing very shaky legs, arms, and hands. When I notified my doctor of my symptoms my oncology team deduced that I need to immediately come in for a full body scan Monday morning to make sure my cancer has not spread. I had one full body scan when I was told I was in remission but since then have only received an internal scan of my ovaries and uterus. Thus they think if anything has came back it may have in between those times. Were crossing our fingers and holding on tight to the hope that I am still cancer free but tomorrow is not promised. Thank you all for your continued prayers in this time. Ive got some great family and friends behind me that are rooting for me! A special thanks to Katie Allen and Mike Allen for being the best siblings around! Also Id like to thank two of my close friends Lacey Marie and Brittanyy Gawarecki for letting me cry on your shoulders these past few months. Lastly Id like to thank the man whom holds my heart, Brandon Mills. I cant imagine possibly going through this again without you by my side. Youve brought nothing but good into my life this past month and I dont ever want to experience things without you. Good or bad youve had my back through more this past month than most people have their entire lives. (Other than the people Im listing) Im so thankful to have you here with me and I love you and appreciate everything you do for our family. Thank you everyone for all continued prayers and well wishes. I wasnt originally going to post anything but after reading of the death of a celebrity who has been an inspiration to me through my fight concerning us having the same type of cancer...I couldnt not share my news with the world. Having cancer has made me a stronger person and it is not nor will it ever be something I will hide or be ashamed of.
