Waited for more than 2 decades....Each and every heartbroken moment in World cup is still etched in memory and came flooding back....still as fresh as it happened yesterday.... 1994 : Yordan Letchkovs 78th minute header had stunned the world and sent us packing 1998 : Christian Woernss red card at 40th minute paved the way for 3-0 drubbing in the hands of Croatia ( probably the worst match played by germany in the past 7 world cups) - remember Sayantan Bhaduri 2002 : Michael Ballacks absence in the final did cost us ....Losing 2-0 in the finals to a superior brazil team....Even the invincible Oliver Kahn faltered.... 2006 : Mtach was even but late strikes from Italy in 119th and 121st minute in semifinal ended the our dreams on the German soil 2010 : Another semi final defeat....We were undoubtedly the team to beat....crashing england 4-1 and Argentina 4-0 but Thomas Muellers absence and a plethora of missed chances had cost us the match to Spain Come 2014...e 13th July (14th in some part of the world) .... the agony and pain has finally given way to joy and ecstasy....No hard feelings ....No bad mouthing to opponents.....but we deserved it this time....more than ever....more than the others....and Mario Gotze.....we, the German supporters will forever adore you....you have given us something for which we had waited 24 years....Thanks German team (Die Nationalmannschaft ) for the Cup and some wonderful memories......
