Now that the High Court has granted injunction orders for #Mongkok and #Admiralty, I believe the time is ripe for the honourable retreat. Instead of waiting for the police to clear the sit-in (which carries the risk of more violence and casualty), why dont the occupants pack up now and turn themselves in to the police station? I believe this will make a glorious end to the peaceful occupation of places but it will also start the next phrase of this civil disobedience campaign. If more than half of the crowd queue up outside the police station, this will create another zone of occupation in essence. And this will be the occupation of heart. Pro-government forces will then not be able to continue their accusation that the occupants have broken the law. Does this thought make sense?
