Now that the football season is over I would like to thank everyone that helped support the Cameron Gridiron Club this past season. It was a great year. The proceeds from our fund raisers went for a variety of things; sandwiches on the bus rides home, special football equipment, upgraded mouth guards, upgraded helmets, annual scholarship, sponsorship of a Veterans Plaze park bench, LeRoy Butler appearance, new headsets for the coaches, Shirts and caps for the coaches and other misc items. We truly appreciate your help and support. We also hope that we all had some fun in the process. Great turn outs for the chicken dinner, LeRoy Butler appearance and the golf tournament. A special thank you to all the coaches who spend so much of their time on our program. Only two schools in our sectional have been to the playoffs the last four years. Cameron and Stanley Boyd. That says a lot about where our program is today. Please give each coach a big thank you when you see them next! Congratulations to the players and coaches on an outstanding season. One victory away from another conference title. Great victory in game one on the new field!! We are already looking forward to a great 2015 year. Remember our golf tournament is always in August. If you have never played in it why not try it this year! You certainly dont have to be a good golfer to participate!! Find three other people and come out and have some fun and really good food! One last thing, to all the men and women who have served our country. Thank You! All the fun we have as players, parents, coaches and fans - our American way of life - would not be possible without the sacrifices made by you.
