Now that we are home, there are several things Id like to share about Santorini, that the pictures wont show you.... 1. The local women are natural....no fake nails, fake boobs, or fake anything else. They are genuine, confident in their own skin, and open and I was immediately drawn to every one I met. 2. The people are warm......in a wed adopt you even if you werent bringing tourist $$ to our island. I loved them for that. 3. The people are gracious, honorable and do not even remotely come across as desperate (as we witnessed in Mexico and Costa Rica) though their financial situations might not be the best. 4. The greek men....do not come in a not handsome variety. Regal, honorable, respectful, dark and handsome no matter their station in life. *** We arrived home to the cabin an hour or so ago and I had cleaned out the fridge before we left, so as not to come home to ick (read as NO FOOD).......Flyguy says, Theres has been no driver arranged to take us to dinner, no restaurant picked out for us this evening, no friendly waitstaff to be sure our towels and bedclothes are properly tended, and no one to help us by planning our day and activities tomorrow.......Niko, Celestia Grand Concierge.......is incredible....and our life has been forever changed by his (and his staffs) gift of hospitality. We are blessed that the Almighty arranged our paths to cross. We look forward to visiting again.
