The Town of Sellersburg along with other communities are required to complete 6 MCM(Minimal Control Measures) MCM 1: Public Education and Outreach: Educate residents, visitors, public service employees and others about the impacts stormwater runoff can have on water quality and ways they can minimize their impact on stormwater quality. An understanding of stormwater issues will help gain public support for the MS4 program. MCM 2: Public Involvement and Participation: Encourages citizens within the MS4 area to participate and provide input in the development and implementation of the MS4 program. Cost to the taxpayers of Sellersburg = $0.00. Since the beginning of this program in 2004, taxpayers in Sellersburg have saved over 1.3 million dollars by not being charged a storm water fee.
