Now that we have 14.1 behind us we just wanted to express how incredibly proud we are of each and every single one of you for facing your double-under & snatch fears! For some of you crazy people you faced this fear not just once but TWICE! We hope you learned at least one positive thing about yourself by completing this WOD. Lets just point out a few awesome things that happened during 14.1: We had Athletes complete 100s of double unders that have never done a WOD with double unders in it which, by the way, means you are no longer allowed to do singles in a workout. We watched people labor through one double under at a time while others went home and suffered through hours of lashings to ensure that they would be able to complete this workout. Very little will get you motivated to learn a new skill like an Open WOD! We had Athletes PR their snatch over and over again during the WOD. Some of you had never used those working weights before but you stepped up to the plate and hacked your way through the WOD. For this, we applaud you! Lastly, our family grew that much stronger through all of the blood, sweat & sometimes tears that were shed during this WOD (No, I didnt cry. Im a man, I workout). The support you all showed one another was incredible and in our opinion no other gym compares to the family and support system at SUBU. Thank you for being as incredible as you all are. Now, with all that being said, take the next few days to clear your head of Open workouts and focus on recovery and staying active. Dont overdue it before Friday. 14.2 awaits, it wont be easy, if you want to know what it is just ask Coach Miguel, rumor has it that he has the inside scoop!
