Now that we have had nearly 24 hrs. to absorb the news of David Price being traded away, I am here to say the THE BEAT GOES ON.....All this talk and chatter about what a lousy deal we made is now water under the bridge. We still have 25 guys on this roster who are more than capable of getting the job done. I expect Longoria to heat up big time down the stretch. I expect Wil Myers will have an impact in Sept. I expect Jeremy Hellickson to regain his old form. I expect our starting rotation to be as tough as ever. I expect Joe Maddon to keep things calm cool and collected. I expect Rays Fans to stand behind their team 100 %. I expect to be playing baseball in October. I expect The Rays to shock the baseball world. I may be a dreamer, but I prefer great dreams over one bad nightmare. I expect all of this to end well....I do that because once again, THE BEAT GOES ON......AND I BELIEVE.......COME JOIN ME IN THAT BELIEF.....STAND UP PROUD FOR YOUR RAYS......WE ARE GONNA MAKE HISTORY.......
