Now that were up. (yours truly) when we were little it was all about see-saws and apple juice, now its all about fast girls and which drug to choose, how have we come this far? from crayons to cigarettes, from playing tag to a record of arrest. what were we thinking? from a soda machine to paying the bills, from nap time to up all night on various pills. how could we willingly allow this ? from sippie cups to a shot glass, from best friends to one-night-stands. yet we wanted to grow up, it happened so fast, how we became corrupt. no more animal crackers or lunch boxes, just failed dreams and broken causes. now were up, its a lot different than down, why did we get so high when its so much safer on the ground?
