Now the Spirit of the Lord speaketh expressly, that in the latter - TopicsExpress

Now the Spirit of the Lord speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. But refuse profane and old wives fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable to all things, having promise of life that now is, and of that which is to come. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, specially those that believe. These things command and teach. 1Tim.4:1-11(Dake) Beloved of God; God has declared, my people parish for the lack of knowledge. Not because it wasnt available, but they rejected it. And because they reject knowledge God rejects them. The itching ears of them that desire the ways of the flesh have declared marriage is no longer between a man and a woman. They practice deceitful doctrines and declare meats God has said are clean are not to be eaten. They declare exercise over godliness. For exercise profits little, but godliness is profitable unto all things. Therefore be ye mindful of the things of God over the declarations of man. Incline thine ears unto the Lord, and be obedient to faith. That all may be well with you and your families. Your righteousness, holiness, and grace are all gifts of God through Christ Jesus. And we have the same Spirit of faith, I believe therefore have I spoken, with that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak. As Scripture has said; These things command and teach. Amen.
