Now the weather is getting warm remember a few things. Never leave your dog in a car, it can soon turn into an oven, even with the windows open. if you have air conditioning, open the car windows to let the heat out, then put the air condidtioning on full until the car cools down, then you can turn it down a notch. Always carry water with you and a bowl for your dog on your walks, it is no good in the car, you may need it on a walk, get a fold up bowl and a small bottle of water to carry around with you. Be on the look out for more cyclists, joggers and horses Keep dogs on lead all the time whatever the weather around livestock. walk the dogs before it gets too hot early morning or later on the evenings when the sun has gone down. Groom dogs regularly, get rid of that dead skin and loose fur regardless of breed. If you have not done so already take the time to teach your dog or pup how to walk nicely on a lead and a good recall, you will be surprised how much more you enjoy walking when you have a dog that does both of these things lovely.
