Now what was that about? As I went to lock the gate (fortunately wearing my slippers instead of shoes) I felt something under the arch of my foot as I put it on the ground, I immediately lifted it to see something leap and run away towards the back door. Thinking it was badly injured I nipped inside and picked up a torch. Then I saw it, a marvelous brightly coloured frog, as he was hopping well I picked him up and put him on the edge of the pond which he promptly jumped into. Lucky for both of us really!
