Nowadays I dont like going out in the public arena, preferring to stay home. However, tonight I am going to make an exception. Buster Stiggs is having his 60th tonight. I first met Buster back in the late 70s when I was producer of Sound Unlimited/Sounds and he was in the band The Models. After the show we went to venue with an electronic Bucking Bull and a member of the band sprained his wrist. Buster continually reminds me. After I left Sounds, Buster was in a band called The Swingers who had a number one hit with Counting The Beat in 1981. By sheer coincidence Buster and I caught up when he applied and ended up (for a time) being my fellow compere at the Voodoo Lounge Northbridge and we have continued to be in touch ever since. Having survived a rough illness several years ago, Buster has managed to beat the odds and is celebrating a milestone tonight. See you tonight mate. https://youtube/watch?v=fyclnTdrSOI
