Nuthin like bein told hunting is bad by a city boy who is eating a salami sandwich. Lemmi tell you sumthin city folks. A lot of you like to think that you are a cure for the problem of global warming, animal cruelty, pollution, etc... Yet all so many of you actually do is blow hot air out of your mouth in between consuming the product of rural Americas labor. How delusional are people that they think the life of a wild animal who meets a swift end is worse than that of a chicken or pig who suffers in agony on a factory farm until they are put through the hell of production slaughter houses so they can become a nice uniformly shaped patty that doesnt resemble in any way, shape, or form the life that was sacrificed to make it. Let me tell you the difference between a hunter and a chicken finger eater. A hunter has respect for the animal that he or she kills. They have respect because they put effort into killing it. Its no easy thing to sit in the cold for hours, attract an animal without scaring it away, and drag it out of the woods when you are already wet, cold, and tired. They also have to put effort into gutting it, skinning, it and preparing it to feed themselves and their family. When you eat the product of your own hard work you appreciate it. Its not something you take for granted. When was the last time you appreciated your chicken fingers? There are, of course, bad hunters. There are those that kill purely for sport and thrill. I have no respect for those people. But the vast majority of those I have encountered are just rich city people who are bored with life inside the outer belt. End rant...
