O Great Spirit, we pay homage to you in the West. As we face the direction of the setting sun, let us remember that every moment, every day and every year is a gift from You, and that moment will come when our sun will go down. Let us remember in dignity all our friends and relatives that have gone home to You. May they rest in your, light warmth and peace We thank you for the many beautiful red and purple sunsets, that Keptin Noel Knockwood, has enjoyed as these beautiful sunsets remind us of the ending of our lives. Keptin Noel Knockwood, knows that he must fade into You. As the sun sets in the west it calls us to our spiritual maturity. Please ease Keptin Noel Knockwood’s pain and comfort him with your presence on his sick bed. We pray that you heal him from his illness, but we understand that if you have other plans for him, let your will be done. Remind his family and friends that are gathered around his sick bed that we must not forget that we must fade into you, and that the end is better than the beginning. When it is time to finally return to you, give him a glorious shy, like the beautiful red and golden leaves of the Fall, so that he will return to you in glory.
