“O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. Psalm 95:6.” As Christians we go to Church to worship the Lord but we need to test ourselves to see exactly why we go to Church. Do we go to Church to gossip? Do we go to Church to flaunt our expensive clothes? Or do we really go to Church to worship the Lord in truth and in spirit? Somehow we seem to have less respect and no fear at all for our Lord. If we look at people from other faiths we could see how they show their respect and fear. They bow down and they do not talk in their place of worship. Some of us can’t even be bothered to kneel down or bow our heads. The fear and more than fear the respect for our Lord should come within our hearts. It is never too late to make some changes! Prayer: Dear Lord, forgive me for my sins and lack of fear and respect. Help me and guide me Lord to make the necessary changes that is pleasing to You. Amen!
