All your most private information will be all in one place and fairly easy for hackers to break according to computer experts. Besides that, the information is being shared among numerous federal agencies and the credit agency Experian is being used to verify some information. You are entitled to get one free credit report from each of the three major credit firms annually. Especially if you apply for Obamacare, it is recommended that you request a free report from one of the three agencies every four months and check it against your information. The website is freecreditreport.gov I have done it and it is free and easy; however, I dont have that much credit and my last report was something like 36 pages long. You would be surprised what is on there.
