OBEYING THE WORD To Obey Is To Do As INSTRUCTED or COMMANDED..... Gods Word Comes For Diverse Purposes. Some Came To Save... Some Came To Heal... While Some Came Direct... To Deliver Or To Transform... Some Came To Inform Or To Counsel And Most Importantly, As Commands. When God Commands You, DO YOU OBEY?.... Now, you dont need to hear the command as a voice from heaven, before you can obey. but doing what the bible instructs... Beloved, when you Ignore every Commands In the BIBLE, IT IS DISOBEDIENCE... Whatever Service You Render To God Will Be Regarded As Empty Unless Such Service Is Performed With Obedience Of Gods WORD, With An Attitude Of Love..... OF COURSE OBEYING IS NOT AN EASY THING; SAUL AND JONAH HAD GOOD REASONS FOR THEIR DISOBEDIENCE. IN 1SAMUEL 15: 16-23. BUT THEY FORGOT THAT IT WAS NOT ABOUT THEM, IT WAS ABOUT GOD....... You Dont Obey Because It Is Convenient For You; You Obey Because It Pleases God. And it is too sad that some of us want to bribe God in our disobedience as in the case of soul who claimed he spared the best sheep to sacrifice to God...... It Is Either Obedience or Disobedience. Doing Things Unwillingly In The First Place Is Not OBEDIENCE but COERCION; there is no reward in it. And We Must Remember Always That Are Consequences For DISOBEDIENCE AND WHAT WE MIGHT LOSE BY DISOBEYING MIGHT BE UNQUANTIFIABLE, ASK SAUL, SAMSON, HEZEKIAH, JUDAS AND OF COURSE THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL....... There is nothing as half-obedience; half-obedience is complete DISOBEDIENCE. I PRAY, FOR THE GRACE TO SERVE GOD OUT OF COMPLETE DEVOTION AND IN TOTAL OBEDIENCE, IN JESUS NAME.......
