OCTOBER 6: HOLY SPIRIT The Holy Spirit protects us. If we really understood who the Holy Spirit is and even more important, how accessible It is, we’d sail though our experiences unruffled. Where are we going wrong? In our madness to escape God and the Real World, we forgot who we really are. God, as the Creator, didn’t forget us, however, and placed the Holy Spirit in us as our perpetual companion to safeguard us, to comfort us, to answer all our questions. We will ever be at a loss for the right decision or the best response to a situation or a person. Through the Holy Spirit, God continues to guide every move we make, providing we seek the guidance. It doesn’t come unbidden. Are we still confused? Let’s think of this Spirit as a guardian angel whose wings brush away the fear and turmoil of our lives. Of course, we can give It any form we want, whatever seems most appropriate to us. The important element is simply the decision to turn to the Holy Spirit for whatever help we need. TODAY WILL UNFOLD ACCORDING TO THE DICTATES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IF I CHOOSE TO ASK IT FOR HELP.
