OFFER OF RESIDENCY MONASTERY COOK THUBTEN SHEDRUP LING MONASTERY The monastery is offering a position as resident cook. Responsibilities are to provide a mid-day meal for the resident monks and guests of the monastery, work closely with the monastery Director in planning meals, buying supplies and keeping within the allocated budget. Meals at the monastery need to provide a staple, healthy vegetarian diet, providing for occasional and limited special dietary requirements. We are looking for someone who would like to become part of, and contribute to the community and take on the role as resident cook in exchange for accommodation and meals. Our resident cook, Rheese, is reducing the number of days he spends at the monastery due to other commitments, most importantly family. Rheese is a valued member of our community and will continue his association with us but is unable to be here full-time.
