Alpha will feature a host of state-of-the-art furniture manufacturer configurations featuring sit-to-stand workstations. If you are not familiar with sit-to-stand workstations, these types of workstations promote increased worker blood steam circulation and movement. Current workplace research studies have found that those employees who stand for a portion of their day, have increased blood flow and circulation. Therefore, resulting in increased productivity and creativity. Its that simple... A better workplace that supports a working environment of the future. As we all know, its your employee/associate in the back office who you are looking to increase productivity to generate increased revenues and profitability for the business. Alphas office-of-the-future is heavily designed around energy efficiency and the use of Daylight Harvesting. For those who are not familiar with Daylight Harvesting, it is the ability to capture the natural light/energy from the sun coming in through your windows and use it within your office space to light portions of your work areas. As much as 40 percent energy savings can be achieved through the installation of solar window treatment. Configured/tied together with computer software that gives the end user the ability to control how much energy savings is desired in the office space. Lastly, the office-of-the-future will feature a category 6 or Cat 6 wiring configuration that will carry an extremely low voltage lighting system that will control the brightest candle light using LED low voltage lighting. This will achieve the most cost effective energy reduction configuration using todays and tomorrows technology. The current projection for the grand opening of Alphas office-of-the-future is late 1st quarter 2014.
