OFFICIALLY FINISHED MY FIRST WEEK OF WORK!!!! Damn working is harder than I expected. I work full time (33 hours a week) and I go to school full time which means I have no more free time. :((( And the little free time I have I would like to give that to my church. Anyway I work for a Korean Company. Everything at work is spoken in Korean. Good thing I am a beast at Korean. Working there definitely improves my Korean skills. My work is okay. I wouldn’t say I enjoy my work nor would I say its fun. Its actually tedious and boring. We sit in these chairs all day that really make your whole back and shoulders hurt. But I guess sometimes in life we don’t have a choice, we have to do whatever it takes to earn money. My work environment is very serious we are not allowed to talk, only work. There is a cute girl who sits next to me, she is very friendly and easy to talk to, she thinks I am very funny. But then they moved my desk because I was talking to her too much. 안돼!! Hey you sit me next to a cute girl, what do you want me to do, stare at her? Of course I’m going to talk to her! But then another cute girl sits next to my new desk. 아싸! But then they moved her. 안돼! I now understand why people drink on the weekend, because working full time especially if you are new to it, and you don’t like your job, it can be tiring and stressful. Well 1 week down, I don’t know how many to go. I pray to God for physical and mental strength and to help me get through the week. I also pray that being busy will not take away from my faith and distract me from god. And lastly I pray that even though I make money now, that I wont idolize it but rather use it to expand the Kingdom of God.
