OFFRE D’EMPLOI À L’UNIVERSITÉ DE STRATHCLYDE / JOB OFFER AT STRATHCLYDE UNIVERSITY (GLASGOW) Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Oral History Applications are sought from ambitious and energetic research-active historians who are keen to contribute to the continuing development of the Scottish Oral History Centre (SOHC) and the History subject area within the School of Humanities at the University of Strathclyde. You will have research and teaching interests and experience in oral history, be published in the field, and have an ability to contribute to History teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in an area of twentieth century history (preferably aligned with current strengths in Scottish, British and transnational history and also in the history of health and medicine). Desirable is a demonstrably strong contribution to REF2014 (commensurate to career level) and essential is an ability to contribute dynamically to the various research, teaching, training, CPD, knowledge exchange and public engagement activities of the SOHC. Experience of digital humanities in the field of oral history (for example, memoryscapes) would also be an advantage. This is an open-ended contract appointment to begin as soon as possible.
