OGI Thief Remanded By Jane B. Mansaray 21-year-old Ibrahim Bangura was yesterday remanded at the Pademba Road Prison for an alleged theft at the Open Government Initiative (OGI). The accused was on Wednesday 9th December 2014 arraigned before Magistrate Komba Kamanda of Court No. 2 one count of office breaking and Larceny contrary to Section 26 sub-section 1 of the Larceny Act 1916. According to the particulars of offence, the accused on 2nd December 2014 at the OGI office on No. 3 Bathurst Street broke into the said office and stole an A.O.C desktop computer, H.P. 32 Plasma television, one Del USP desktop computer. coloured power KVA 15 generator, 2 Sierratel land phones and other valuable items, worth Millions of Leones. The matter is being prosecuted by Sergeant 922 Dumbuya. The accused was denied bail and remanded at the Pademba Road Central Prison in Freetown. The matter was adjourned to the 13th January 2015 for hearing.
