NEW YORK STATE POLICE Major Wayne C. Olson Troop Commander PRESS RELEASE During the week of December 15th through 19th, 2014 New York State Police Investigators of the Violent Felony Warrant Squad assigned to SP-Manhattan and detailed with the United States Marshals Service NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force, took part in the following fugitive apprehensions: Jose Fernandez, 06/27/75, 115-34 131st Street, Queens, N.Y. - Defendant was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service in the State of Pennsylvania on an outstanding warrant for Drug Sales. Toney A. Barbieri, 03/30/92, 4048 W. Raven Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada - Defendant was wanted by the City of Binghamton P.D. on an outstanding warrant for Burglary 1st Degree. Anthony Gomez, 09/27/79, 451 Kingston Avenue #2C, Brooklyn, N.Y. - Defendant was wanted by the Drug Enforcement Administration in the State of Maine on an outstanding warrant for Federal Drug Conspiracy charges regarding the Distribution and Sale of Oxycodone. Qian Di, 02/21/71, 231 Evergreen Avenue, Staten Island, N.Y. - Defendant was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service in the State of Maryland on an outstanding warrant for Assault 1st Degree. All fugitives apprehended were turned over to the respective wanting agencies. Established in 2002, the U.S. Marshals Service NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force is composed of Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies with the sole mission of locating and arresting wanted fugitives.
