OGUTA RE-RUN ELECTION, GOV ROCHAS OKOROCHA has this to say; Yesterday night, i watched on TV as Governor Rochas Okorocha was appealling to INEC to declare the APGA candidate in the already concluded State Constituency election as the True winner of that election. He showed the world a hard copy of INEC returning official document which "TRUELY" specified the authentic winner of that election. According to the document, election was held in 120 Wards out of the 128 in OGUTA. APGA won the duel [but there was on use of gun nor sword] with over 2000+ votes after recording 9000+ votes with the PDP candidate securing 7000+ votes. According to official reports, election was not conducted in 8 wards which has a total of over 8000 registered voters thus, prompting INEC to declare the election inconclusive. Out of 65000+ registered voters in Oguta,A little above 18000 voted. Evidence on ground categorically stated that the APGA candidated won. The INEC returning officer dully signed the document which contains the evidence[the authentic result] and was about to announce the result when a "Phone call" came from above with an express order, mandating her not to declare the result but rather declare the election INCONCLUSIVE. ROCHAS OKOROCHA --"i want to use this medium to congratulate WALTER for pulling such feat[winning the election] and i urge INEC not to allow their image be soiled by this Oguta election.they should declare the winner of that election. What PDP and the ABUJA politicians who cannot even pull 500 crowd wants is to destabilize our state but we will never give them that opportunity. The people have spoken and their wishes must be respected. What is happening now was exactly what happened during my own election. I call on INEC to live up to their name" For me, I believe what APGA should do is, take them to court, with the evidence at hand and on ground, their candidate would be returned by the Court.
