OH, BLESS ME NOW MY SAVIOR. I COME TO THEE... Youve prayed over it, fasted for it, paid EXTRA tithes & offerings every week sowing a seed in preparation for it. Its YOUR blessing! Its set aside just for you. Tailor made! But, theres only one PROBLEM: youre standing HERE but God has set up provision for you over THERE! WAIT! HOLD UP! WHOA NELLY! God, I prepared, I prayed, I paid, I fell prostrate before Your Presence, withholding nothing. I thought you KNEW that I wanted a right now blessing to come upon me right here! In THIS place, THIS tabernacle, in my comfort zone. What happened to my HERE & NOW? If you find yourself going kicking & screaming into a BLESSING, then you probably need to check whats pulling you back. When God blesses you, it shouldnt elicit a Fight, Fright, or Flight response. You serve and pray to a loving, compassionate God. He is a gentleman. Hell never beg for it nor force Himself on you. His arms are spread wide, holding open the doors that lead to the blessing you prayed for. So, what are you gonna do? . . . Hint: Id rather leave and go TO a place where God dwells and is working; than stay in a comfortable place, and look around and God is not there. What will be your response?
