OK - parents who have been through this I would like some feed back. I was at a restaurant last night and they had a toddler with them who was on the verge of having a meltdown. (I am not a mom but for some reason I can tell when they are hungry, need rest, or whiny. I just can.) This youngin needed to go to bed! She was fed and was with a group of people who were trying to entertain her so she would not be upset. However, she screamed several times. You know those screams that shatter your whole being and go down your spine? Yea, those. So, what I would like to know should they not have hired a babysitter and went out to eat in a public restaurant (which was Red Robins at 9:30 p.m.)? Or should I just have had the patience and just put up with it?
