OK - taking a shot in the dark here... I use the paid version of AVG, have for years and it works great BUT I guess the program updated and changed a bunch, actually it kind of looks like Windows 8 now (ggggrrrr) – I use my laptop to access the client files on my office computer when I am not in the office (same home, small office network just a different location on my property, my office computer often switches back to “stand alone” computer from “small office” it was a quick fix before just going to the settings and I believe firewall to change it back to small office – now I cannot locate those settings – I found the firewall settings but it says nothing about stand alone or small office. I tried calling tech support and when I finally understood the guy on the other end he wanted to log on to my system to fix the problem stating that he could not walk me through fixing it…. NO….. Can anyone help PLEASE!!!!
