OK - this pisses me off. Sony apparently has officially CANCELLED its release of The Interview. Really? Really? This is was movie number ONE on my holiday list. I HOPE this is a temporary postponement of the release to avoid scaring away Hollywoods appetite for holiday ticket sales. Heard Sony was getting pressure form the other studios. Maybe it will be released in January. But if this movie goes straight to cable or VOD, that is upsetting. I have to hand it to Seth Rogen who has the balls to have written and directed this movie. So I guess we are not going to make controversial movies, now? Wait, making a parodic movie about the North Korean dictator is controversial? Who would not agree with the sentiment of The Interview. It is a no-brainer.
