OK Ford guys, help me figure this problem out. 5.4 Triton in my 99 Expedition. Engine started running rough. Unless you feather the throttle to accelerate, it shakes, vibrates, misses, and lurches back and forth. About gives you whiplash. Towing the boat yesterday was loads of fun!!! lol Cruising without giving it more throttle, it runs smooth. Any load or throttle and it does all the above. No codes at all from the OBD2! Symptoms definitely seemed like a Throttle Position Sensor, so replaced that anyways. Still same issues, no change. Getting ready to replace some questionable vacuum lines. Any other ideas? Used to be a rare intermittent problem that happened only when it was really foggy or humid. Wont go away this time.
